Privacy policy
What this website and our order process collect, and what they do not.
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This website
www.azsql.com is a static website. It does not set cookies, run advertising networks or include third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
Like most web servers, our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and timestamp. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning, and are retained for a limited period by the hosting provider.
If you contact support or sales, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to answer your enquiry and to provide the support included with a licence. Please do not send credentials, connection strings or database contents.
Orders
Purchases are completed on a secure hosted checkout operated by our payment provider. Payment card details are entered on their systems; AzSQL Technology does not receive or store full card numbers.
We receive the order information needed to deliver a licence and provide support: name, email address, country, product and order reference. The payment provider's privacy policy also applies to the checkout.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not use your email address for unrelated marketing.
- We do not collect information about the databases you process with the desktop application.
Retention and your choices
Order and support records are kept for as long as needed to provide support and meet accounting obligations. You can ask us to correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@azsql.com. We may need to retain records required by law.
Children
This site and the product are intended for business use and are not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date.
